Samdech Preah Maha Ariyavamsa Dr. Yon Seng Yeath is a highly respected Cambodian Buddhist monk, scholar, and leader in both religious and academic spheres. He currently serves as the Rector of Preah Sihanouk Raja Buddhist University, a key institution for Buddhist education in Cambodia, where he supports the development of monastic and lay Buddhist studies across the country.

Dr. Yon Seng Yeath has a significant academic background, including a post-doctoral degree in philosophy from Harvard Divinity School in the United States, where his research focused on Buddhist teachings and the peace-building work of the late Cambodian monk Preah Maha Ghosananda.

In addition to his academic leadership, he holds senior roles within the Cambodian Sangha, including Deputy-President of the Monastic Secretariat of the Cambodian Sangha Council.
