Mr. Chaiyapon Sukieam is a Thai government official serving as the Director-General of the Department of Religious Affairs (DRA) in Thailand, a key role within the Ministry of Culture that oversees religious affairs and policy in the country. He has also been involved as a co-opt member of the International Council for the Day of Vesak (ICDV), representing Thailand in international Buddhist observances and global interfaith activities.

Before his current leading role, he worked within cultural and governmental departments in Thailand, including positions related to cultural promotion and collaboration, reflecting his involvement in both administrative governance and public cultural programs.

Mr. Chaiyapon is recognized for his participation in international events connected to Buddhism and religious cooperation, where he represents Thailand’s Department of Religious Affairs.
